Video.Games – 2nd highest new gTLD domain sale ever.
Just reported last week was the highest reported new gTLD sale ever.
Radix reported that they sold Casino.Online for $201,250 thru Sedo. This highest new gTLD domain sale was just reported on Ron Jackson’s DNJournal.com last week.
Fast forward to just a few minutes ago. Rightside just reported a list of their high 5 and 6 figure new gTLD domain sales…
“a full list of every five- and six-figure direct Platinum domain sale we are allowed to publish. Just a few of these have been publicly revealed until now. This includes the sale of Video.games which was sold in February for $183,000—our biggest Platinum sale to date, and the second largest in the entire new gTLD program.”

Message to the new gTLD domainer big boys, yes I am talking about the new gTLD Registries. Not too shabby. Definitely not .com money, but some of these sales are starting to look like some of the dot tv sales of recent and past. Just please get all of your pricing/renewals in order or you will alienate all of your current users and any potential new customers. All of those recent discussions about renewal rates increasing and nobody knowing if they will be paying $30 next year or $3000 next year for their renewals could be the quick downfall to your recent successes. Congrats to Rightside on an impressive list of new G sales.
